Master Arts Series Presents the Music of Haydn & Rheinberger

Last night the Nave was filled with the beautiful music of Haydn and Rheinberger. Knoxville Symphony conductor, Maestro Lucas Richman, conducted the Church Street Parish Adult Choir, the Knoxville Chamber Chorale and the KSO Chamber Orchestra in Franz Joseph Haydn's Theresienmesse in B Flat. Church Street's organist, Edie Johnson, performed Joseph Rheinberger's Organ Concerto in G Minor. Soloists for the Mass were Jami Anderson, soprano, Lauren Lyles, alto, Alex Ward, tenor, and Daniel Webb, bass.

We greatly appreciate all the musicians, especially Maestro Lucas Richman, for sharing their talents and making last night's collaboration possible. Thank you to everyone who came out for the event and for your continued support of the Master Arts Series at Church Street. Last night's concert was recorded by WUOT and will be aired at a later date.

Mark your calendar now for next Master Arts Concert coming up on Sunday, November 10.
