Help The Hunger Helper Market Grow
Spring has finally arrived in East Tennessee and that means the start of the Hunger Helper Market at Church Street is just around the corner. The market will begin on Sunday, April 28. You will be able to purchase a variety of homegrown and homemade goods donated by our church members. The proceeds from the Hunger Helper market benefit Wesley House and Montgomery Village, as well as Heifer International. Last year the market raised nearly $5,000. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, you can help by staffing the market. Small groups are encouraged to volunteer for the three market shifts each Sunday. Also, this year the market hopes to to sell ready-to-eat meal items. If you can help volunteer in any way, please contact Kathy Ehrnschwender at email@example.com.
