The Vienna Boys Choir Comes to Church Street

On Tuesday, February 26, at 7:30 p.m., the Vienna Boys Choir will perform
at Church Street. It is a choir of trebles and altos based in Vienna, Austria, and one of the best-known boys’ choirs in the world. The boys are selected mainly from Austria, but also from many other countries. There are approximately 100 choristers between the ages of 10 and 14. The boys are divided into four touring choirs, named for Bruckner, Haydn, Mozart and Schubert, which perform about 300 concerts each year before almost 500,000 people.

You will need a ticket for this performance. Master Arts Society Members receive complementary tickets. Contact Tim Ward for more information at 521-0276. Tickets are available for purchase in the church office during regular business hours and from Tim Ward on Sundays. Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for students.

This event is cosponsored by WUOT 91.9 FM
